Quote of The Day

"Forgiving does not erase the bitter past. A healed memory is not a deleted memory. Instead, forgiving what we cannot forget creates a new way to remember. We change the memory of our past into a hope for our future."

- Louis B. Smedes

I understand that there are people out there who dislike me, who keep hatred towards me and will never fully forgive me for all the mistakes that I have ever done no matter how much I have apologized and changed. I do believe that that is not the point though. Because our job is not to beg. We all make mistakes, we learn, we apologize, we change, and we move on with a better understanding. Everybody makes mistakes so it is truly unfair to not give room for other people to make some. No matter how much a person disappoints me, I will always forgive and move on. I have a big heart and I am grateful to Allah for that. Therefore, my job is done and I live in peace. I just wish peace for those who find forgiving a very difficult task to do. Remember, when people hate you, love them back. Positivity always wins..:)

COUNT YOUR HAPPINESS!

What is happiness to you? What’s capable of making you happy? Happiness, to me, is limitless. It could come from anything, anywhere, anytime, anyone.

It’s simple, really.

I could easily feel joyful when I use a brand new soap, or by seeing fresh flowers, or when my favorite brands launch new collections at the stores, or whenever I have the chance to eat lunch at home with my Mom, or just simply getting simple messages from the loved ones. I once got very happy that I experienced eating the most delicious potatoes  in Tanjung Benoa, Bali, while gazing at the swimming koi fish in the aquarium. And happiness could come from much simpler things such as when I’m able to wear flip flops during sightseing  because I can’t stand being in heels for hours and have to walk in them every time.

Happiness is that simple.

A few of my closest people probably notice that I’m very obsessed with finding happiness and the idea of happiness in deeper understanding. I always want to be a happy person. I learned from the simplest things we go through daily. If we add them up everyday, it will form the kind of savings account of joy, and we can spend them in the days when we need them. I usually note them down in my little journal book, dot points of the things that make me happy.

For example, :
1.  My father n my mom who always kiss on my cheek
2.  I had a money from my old sister and grandmother and enjoy shopping with my little sister
3.  I had a very great and fun friends at campus every today
4.  On my way home, the traffic wasn’t so bad and the air after the rain’s nice
5.  Got home, and Mom checked on me see if I was feeling alright
6.  Kanaya Ezra G.S and Raditya Dhevan S.L , who always sticky on me wherever i'd go at home
7.  Got to have dinner at home
8.  My boyfriend called me, just a minute after I BBM him
9.  I had a package sent to me from Puri (@idekuhandmade)
10. I’m laying in my bed, writing this and blogging this – so I can share it with so many people.

Simple, huh? Imagine me writing 10 points every day for a year, I would have 3650 happiness in every year! Imagine if you have 50 points, 100 points or even 200 points of happiness per day. I’m sure it would result you something unexpectedly amazing.

Create your own happiness that comes within yourself and share it with others around you.

L.O.V.E.

Love is the master key that opens the gates of happiness."
Oliver Wendell Holmes

What does "love" means to you? I know everyone has a meaning for love.

Now, I understand.

Found this very beautiful note from Jessica Lim's Facebook account long time ago - she's a good friend of mine. Her writing skills are simply amazing.

Please send this post to your loved ones. Have a good night!

My Happiness Depends On Me

"Tell everyone you know: "My happiness depends on me, so you're off the hook." And then demonstrate it. BE HAPPY, no matter what they're doing. Practice feeling good, no matter what. And before you know it, you will not give anyone else responsibility for the way you feel-and then, you'll love them all. Because the only reason you don't love them, is because you're using them as your excuse to not feel good."

- Esther Hicks

Quote of the Week

"It's not about finding someone who won't fight with you or make you sad. It is about finding the person who will still be standing there wiping the tears away, holding you in their arms after a fight. The one who will never leave, no matter how hard things get."

What's Your Favorite Color?

On this very relaxing weekend, I browse through my favorite online portal and found a very fun quiz on fimelagirl.com called "What's Your #ColorID?"

Most of us have a favorite color. Mine is usually baby pink/baby green but now I am more attracted tofuchsia. I'm pretty sure my personality was "fuchsia"- adventurous girly girl. According to an article, your favorite color can be a reflection of your personality. If your favorite color is fuchsia, you seek harmony and balance in every aspect of your life; physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Eliminating Drama

"I think, when people come up to me to ask questions about their problems, I see unsatisfied faces. It's because they expected an answer full of complexity, which would signify the complexity of life too, which justifies having problems. But they don't get that from me. My answers are always very simple and straightforward. And that exactly is the key to a happy life. Humans tend to complicate things because it feels easier when there is something to blame on. Don't."
